Hi,

We have a csv file saved in al11 directory at path /BHD/BHPFTP/BPC/HRIT/ on our BW server. We are trying to load the data of this file in our BPC cube , for this am using BPC package execution with process chain /CPMB/IMPORT_USING_FTP .

When am trying to execute the package post entering all the required details the package is failing with message "Failed to connect to FTP" . I want to know if there is any config that needs to be maintained at BPC front before I execute this package.

Below are the values which am passing for the prompts while executing package :

Package: /CPMB/IMPORT_USING_FTP

Enter FTP user: xyz

Password for above ID: **

File Path to download file from server: /BHD/BHPFTP/BPC/HRIT/Employee_data.csv

Folder Name: Assigning a server folder.

Transformation File: I have created separate transformation file with mapping

Regards,

Neha

Please use search!

"If your import path is defined in AL11 then just use standard Import from File and use path as defined in AL11."

Hi Vadim,

Thanks for revert.

I checked this answer mentioned by you earlier, but I didn't understand what do you mean by 'import path defined in al11' .

How do we check that and what do you imply with that.

The path you mentioned!

/BHD/BHPFTP/BPC/HRIT/

Look on the sample I have explained in the comments to my old answer.
