F1520 Proposed Posting Date Field during Reprocessing of Bank Statement Items

We use the F1520 Reprocessing of Bank Statement Items app. We need to change the proposed posting date to be the same as the bank statement date for the item we are trying to reprocess. Note 3196069 has been applied with the 3 notes called out within the note. We are still getting the current date as the proposed posting date when reprocessing items. The notes do not change the functionality to use the bank statement date as the posting date. 

Does anyone have any suggestions? We are on S4Hana 1909 on-prem.

Maybe I have misunderstood the note, but #1 in the note says that if the bank file contains a date, then that becomes the proposed posting date. In our case, the bank file does have a date and that is the date we want as our proposed posting date in the reprocessing bank statement item. FEBAN does exactly that. It uses the bank statement date as the posting date when reprocessing items. We simply want the app to do the same.

Have you read the restriction on the note itself, it clearly states:

1. If there is provided a value for the posting date field in the bank statement during the import via the format mapping or manual creation, this value is proposed as the first option on the detail screen of a bank statement item.
2. The first option as an alternative default value, the application proposes the value of the bank statement date in the posting date field on the detail screen of a bank statement item.
3. When the item is edited and saved as a draft with a different value in the posting date field, this new value is kept and proposed instead of the bank statement date or another value from the bank statement format mapping within this field.

Have you followed this?

If yes and you saved the draft with a different value in the posting date field and it does not take it over, I would propose you open an incident.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we have followed the steps in the note. The current date is proposed even though we have not entered an overriding date or saved a draft. I will open a case with SAP. Thanks

Either I do not understand you or you have not understand the steps described in the note. The note will only work, if you override a value in the posting date field. Which other value should else be picked up by the system for a posting date?
