Express document "Update was canceled" received from author in FB05

I received the error "Express document 'Update was canceled' received from author" while trying to clear a document in FB05.
When I checked SM13, I found the update termination (screenshot attached).
I also encountered the same issue when attempting to reverse the document in FB08.
I also checked the number range, but it didn’t help.

Has anyone faced this before? Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
Thanks in advance for your support!

I found the solutions for this!

1. Check and Resolve Inconsistencies with RFSEPA03 Program

Run the RFSEPA03 program to check for inconsistencies between FI indexes and documents. This is the first step to identify potential errors in the indexes.

Steps:

  • Access transaction SE38.

  • Run the RFSEPA03 program.

  • Check the results to see if there are any errors related to document 2513046434.

    • If an inconsistency is found, proceed to the next step.

2. Run RFSEPA01 Program to Rebuild FI Index

If RFSEPA03 detects errors, you can use the RFSEPA01 program to rebuild the FI index. This helps remove invalid "cleared" statuses from BSEG and restore the correct status.

Steps:

  • Access transaction SE38.

  • Run the RFSEPA01 program to rebuild the index.

  • Recheck in FBL5N and ACDOCA to ensure the document is processed correctly.

3. For S/4HANA Users: Check and Synchronize FI and ACDOCA

If using S/4HANA, you can run special programs to check the synchronization between documents in FI and ACDOCA.

Steps:

  • Use transaction FINS_MIG_STATUS or FINS_MIG_RECONCILE to check synchronization.

  • Run the FINS_ACDOC_CLEANUP or FINS_RECONCILE reports to handle inconsistencies between FI and ACDOCA.

4. Manual Resolution if Programs Don’t Resolve the Issue

If the previous steps don’t work, you can attempt manual resolution:

  • Remove the cleared status from BSEG using ABAP (if you have the necessary permissions).

  • Wait until the clearing document expires, then try clearing again.
