Hi Team
We are in the process of implementing a public cloud solution for four localized countries, with each country operating under a different company code currency. Each country wishes to maintain its own exchange rates for currency translation, specifically for converting the transaction currency to the respective company code currency. However, I have only been able to identify an option for setting exchange rates at the global level for the company code currency.
Could you please advise on how to assign an exchange rate type for each country / Company code, with respect to their company code currency (10)?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello Srinivas,
The exchange rate type M is global in nature and any conversion from document currency (00) to company code currency (10) can only happen via the type M and this cannot be changed!
However there is a solution, please refer to the notes: https://me.sap.com/notes/3512760/E
Refer to the following blog for detailed solution: https://community.sap.com/t5/enterprise-resource-planning-blog-posts-by-sap/currency-conversion-with...
