When creating a journal entry with a transaction currency different from the company code currency, where does the exchange rate come from? I have noticed that there are no rates maintained in the Currency Exchange Rate app.

Could you please clarify the source of the exchange rate in this scenario?

perhaps, the validity date is very early in the past.
