Excel freezing issues - office 2013

Hi,

Currently we are facing excel freezing issues with office 2013.

Here are the details of EPM and Excel versions

EPM V24

MS excel Security patch KB3114734.

After launching EPM and connected to BPC, everything works perfect until we use same model. But

Once we open new excel workbook, and connect to other model (Change of Model) and open input template, and click on refresh work book after changing context, then after entering input values, the epm functions getting freeze. we are not able to select save and refresh workbook etc.

Does anyone facing the same issue with MS Office 2013?

Hello,

Please confirm if the subsequent refresh is actually creating a runtime MDX query on the server side and executing correctly.  You can do this a few ways.

1. Use Fiddler log and check the entries
2. Use SLG1 or UJSTAT on the server side.  Please make sure you capture the correct logs by timestamp and user ID
3. Use EPM Add-in log in verbose mode

This will verify the scope of the problem, as server side, EPM Add-in side or something else.

Could you share the screen shot of the same i.e One screen shot before changing model when it was not freeze and second screen shot after getting freeze.
