Excel behaving differently on different machine

Hi,

I am on BPC 10 NW SP 19 Patch 1.

On most machines, i have a template that works fine.

But on one user, when she opens the excel, the following happens:

1. After double clicking EPMSELECTMEMBER(), the warning message "The cell or chart you are trying to change is protected and therefore read-only. To modify a protected cell or chart, first remove protection using the Unprotect Sheet command (Review tab, Changes grup). You may be prompted for a password".

2.In the Sheet Options -> General tab, the 'Data Input', 'Member Recognition' and 'Worksheet Type' are not there too.

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi ,

Have you tested on different PC with affected user id? or Different user ID on affected PC.?

Check any Microsoft update on that machine .

Hi,

For the second issue, can you go to Options->command display option and check whether all check boxes are active or not.

I mean all check box should be checked.
