Hi All,

In the OutlookSoft5 , there is a function to insert member in the input form as shown in the images below. In this scenario, there are only 2 members are displayed in the input form and user will be able to display another member in the input form by right click on the column "Project".

Question:

How do we do the same in BPC 10.1?

1. Right click and choose Insert member:

Another member is displayed as requested in above steps:

Btw, is there any way to filter it based on the combination like example scenario below:

If the user select "project"="Computer Software" then

  • only "asset class" relates to the "Computer Software" will be available in the list in step 2 (please refer to the screen shot in the previous posting) and "asset" relates to the both combination (Project and Asset Class)  will be available in the list in the step 2.


If the user select "project' = xxx then only "asset class" relates to this "xxx" will be available in the list 2...and so on...


Currently, system display all the combination in the "Member Insertion Filtering". Hence, there is a possibility that user select wrong selection, for example user is able to select "project" = "Computer Software" and the "asset"= "DESK".
