ESEF Dimensional Null Error

Hello marc.kuipers,

Once We´ve installed 1700 Stack, Validation Excel is generated. Well, in ESEF tab, i can see the next warning:

[ESEF.3.4.2.extensionTaxonomyLineItemNotLinkedToAnyHypercube] Dimensional line item reported non-dimensionally SHOULD be linked to "not dimensionally qualified" hypercube http://www.esma.europa.eu/xbrl/role/cor/esef_role-999999

And in error tab several error arise (all items) related with dimensional null items:

[xbrldie:PrimaryItemDimensionallyInvalidError] Hecho ifrs-full:PropertyPlantAndEquipment contexto CYE no es dimensionalmente válido - Viscofan.html 157

In order to resolve that error, I´ve done modifications in Xwand tool following ESEF.3.4.2. manual guideline. Then I save extended taxonomy and upload to DM.

When I back to DM XBRL mapper, null dimensions in modified items persists, as well as in the Excel error tab.

What I want to know if issue is due to an extended taxonomy misconfiguration or related with SAP DM issues.

Hi Daniel,

I'm facing the same problem than you in my Taxonomy. I have a "Null Dimension" information in my dimension area in SAP DM Excel File (like your picture "null-dimension.png"). Could you please tell me how did you solve your problem ?

That's caused by an incorrect extended taxonomy - i.e. a design error

Hello Bertrand,

As you can see in attached image, there is a rol named "[999999] Line items not dimensionally qualified" inside Definition Link. In order to resolve this issue, you have to add all items belonging not dimensional statements (balance, profit/loss sheet, etc) to this rol.

Nevertheless, you can check what items must be added into this rol using Excel validation sheet. (ESEF 3.4.2 error)
