Hello,
Starting next year, the ESMA will force companies to map the notes of the report in the taxonomy. As far as I understand, there are two ways to map the notes, one the block mapping and the other the detailed mapping of notes. My question is if SAP DM contemplates both options, since it is the tool that we use to map the primary financial statements, mandatory since 2020.
Thank you
Regards

Hello Marc and Olga,
Do you have any "How to.." that explains how to tag notes in blocks?
Thank you in advance

Hi Angeles
As mentioned by Olga, DM already supports this. Note: for US SEC, block tagging has been mandatory for several years, and customers have been using this.
However, I would advise you to upgrade to Stack 2000 when it will be released (probably in October or November) as there will be some improvements in the XBRL mapper for this.

Hello Marc,
Ok we will try to upgrade to stack 2000.Do you know if it is possible to tag the notes with the latest taxonomy (2021)? because the new is not published yet
Thanks in advance
Ángeles
Hello Daniel
The new taxonomy will be published soon
Marc
Hello avbravo, SAP DM supports block tagging of the notes. Detailed tagging of the notes is not required by ESMA ESEF standard.
