Hi ,
I have SAP PaPM installed on BW System, i want to access S4/HANA data using SDA in PaPM, but i'm facing
few problems while trying to access virtual tables through SDA.
I have followed 2 ways to access virtual tables,
1)Using Connection Management (Using Logical Connection in Model Table) :
While activating Model Table in PaPM , i'm getting insufficient Privilege error. (We have established a connection to S4/HANA and trying to access Virtual Tables using SDA).
2)Physical Connection in Model Table :
When i try to add remote source name in Model Table, i'm getting entered value is not on the list of valid Values error
Attaching the Screenshots.
Thanks
Dear vishwanathreddyh
I acknowledge that you have recently performed an upgrade SAP PaPM installed on BW System and afterwards encountered insufficient privilege as you have indicated in your attachment.
Please note that it is equally important to make sure that you stabilize your solution by making sure the ABAP, HANA and Default Environment steps are performed correctly and completely.
Would you be recheck this steps and let us know how it works for you?
Create DBCON Database Connection
Create NXI Schema in SAP HANA Studio
Grant Full Authorization to SAP DB Connection User in SAP HANA Studio
Grant SELECT and EXECUTE Authorizations to _SYS_REPO User in SAP HANA Studio
Kindly check the Post Installation steps in our administration guide as your reference
For related information on the relevance of these Post Installation Steps, you may refer to the following blog post:

Kind Regards,
