Error while securing unsecure dimension.

Hi Experts,

We already went live 3 months back , Now user wants to add more security for the users who have to load Forecast data in consolidation model. So that they have only write access to forecast and ready access to rest of the version.

But I am getting error while doing this. I tick version as a secure and while saving this changes an error pop up (Try to update a template that does not exist 2018-03-06 10:10:09)

I tried all possible things but nothing worked.

When reporting errors please always provide your SAP_BW, SAP_UI and CPMBPC (if on SAP_BW 740 or earlier) as errors are often code specific.

In your case, Note 2348434 - "Dimension change can't be saved due to journal template fail to update" corresponds to your error. Please check to see if it matches the SAP_BW version you are running.
