ERROR while Loading Transaction Data from BW to BPC using *MVAL

Hi All BPC Gurus

Facing a problem while loading the data from the BW cube to BPC area. In one of my Dimension I have multiple key figures. For which I have maintained the *MVAL in the transformation file.

When validating the Transformation file with the BW cube I am getting following error :

Scenario 2: Same transformation file I have maintained without *MVAL and it was successful. see the result of it below:

   But this will not help me as I have to have multiple Key figures to be uploaded in BPC cube from BW. Please provide me tips or advice to resolve this issue.

Hi All,

   The actual issue was that in BW some Keyfigures were not mapped to Keyfigure. They were maintained as Dimension.

  Later when changed that to Keyfigure it worked.

As per the screen shots I saw one problem , please check the below the points.

Can you please check whether 2014.11 is available in TIME dimension or not ..?

If it is available please check its a base member or not.

Please check is there any blank field also..?

Hi Pankaj,

What did you use to validate your transformation file? infoprovider or data file?

maybe try *STR instead of *NEWCOL

   Validating with Infoprovider.

  Tried as per your advice but the result is same.

Hi,

Looking at both of your transformation I see the mapping for WBS element is not the same.

You need to cater for the empty WBS mappings in your MVAL transformation file to match the other one.

The rejected list shows you that there are empty WBS elements.

   Even after correcting I am having the same result but the difference there are no reject records.

Hi KM,

Did you run the package?

not the test transformation file, you need to run the package in excel and show me the results.
