Error while creating Sharing order " Product role does not fit to Object "Provider Order Item"

Hi SAP experts,

I am creating a sharing order (Order type PRCO), by adding sharing product ( type - SUBC). During save i am getting below error ?

Product role does not fit to Object "Provider Order Item" am i missing any standard config ?

As i am using standard document type and item category group as PRRP (Subs Usage), all config should be inplace.

Hi Indraneel,

From the error it seems the general customizing to assign product role to product type might be missing for product type SUBC. You can check IMG path: Service -> Master Data -> Settings for Subscription Master Data -> Subscription Product-Specific Data -> Assign Product Roles to Product Types. The product role "R - Subscription" should be mapped.

Other settings required for sharing order are:

1. Purpose "P - Sharing Product" should be mapped to product type SUBC in customizing Service -> Master Data -> Settings for Subscription Master Data -> Subscription Product-Specific Data -> Assign Product Purpose to Product Types.

2. DocPurpose "P - Sharing Order" should be mapped to sharing orders and contracts transaction types (PRCO and PRCC, if standard) in customizing Service -> Transactions -> Settings for Subscription Transactions -> Define Settings for Transaction Types.
