Error when opening RFC connection SAP BPC

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create a dimension in BPC web client. I can log in but when I try to create a dimension the system gives an error:

500 SAP Internal Server Error

ERROR: Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT', communication rc: CM_PRODUCT_SPECIFIC_ERROR (cmRc=20), taskhandler rc: GW_CONNECT_FAILED (thRc=236) ). (termination: RABAX_STATE)

I have checked the RFCs, tested connection and authorization in SM59 and they are working. When I also try to refresh dimension cache using UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE, i get the same error dump in ST22.

Kindly assist.

Hello Jordan

You probably defined the MDX PARSER RFC connection in the wrong place.

Looks like the tag is corrected by moderator (based on my alert).

Anyway, do you still have an issue?

P.S. If you ask question abot some error you need to provide detailed version/sp info for BPC and BW!

The error was fixed by basis team. Something to do with the BPC installation
