Error when Importing Accounting Rules Engine Sample Content for PaPM Universal Model

Hello Team,

I'm following this Download, Import, and Activate the Sample Content to import the Accounting Rules Engine sample in the PaPM Universal Model. There is an error message: Connected environment used by connection SARE2402 is missing after I execute step 2.d: Select the uploaded file and choose Import Environment. Can you help to figure out the cause of this error?

Hi Grace,

When importing an environment with connected environment, you should import first the connected environment without activating it. Once you have successfully imported it, you can now import the Accounting Rules Engine sample and activate it.

When importing a target environment that is used in an “Environment” connection type, you need to use the Import Environment feature instead of the Import as New feature. This way, you avoid that the system generates a new technical ID of the target environment, and you preserve the environment connection.

This error points out that the Market Data Environment, which is used via a connection in the SARE2406 Environment, is missing.

It can be resolved by first importing the Market Data Environment (SMD)  and then importing SARE2406 again.
