Error - " Role Description Cannot be Updated " in BRM GRC 10.1

Hello ALL ,

I am configuring GRC BRM 10.1 , for which i have faced below two issues , for which your help would be much appreciated.

1. Post Role Definition stage ( Single Role ) , when i go for Maintaining Authorization Data , the error message prompts " Role Description cannot be updated ". Then when u click on Save option and then Maintain authorization data , i am able to login to Plugin with PFCG screen . Able to create role but the description maintained in role definiation stage is not reflected , its blank.

PLease help urgently!!

Hi All ,

The issue which I am facing is that " Role Description cannot be updated " , this errors pops when I create new role vi BRM. I have followed all the steps advised on forum , the RFC User Authorization is also okay no issues in RFC user.

Moreover what I observed is , I didn't face any issue while creating a DERIVED ROLE , the Derived role was created with description.

Please advise over the same!
