Hi,
I am on SAP BPC standard 11.1 with B4HANA 2.0 and S4HANA 1809.
We are trying to delete any dimension member and while we try to process, system gives the following error:
Error in Admin module or a component used by Admin module.
We came across this error, and applied the fix using the SAP note 2877043/1615644 which asks us to reactivate the environment shell.
The fix worked and we were able to delete dimension members and process the dimensions.
Now 3 months later we did some data deletion for underlying ADSO for a BPC model using delete contents option , and post this somehow we are again facing the same issue where we cannot delete dimension members and save and process any dimension.
We need SAP_ALL to apply the note 2877043/1615644 again. My SAP Basis administrator argues that this is not a relevant fix as the SAP note is for SAP BPC 10.1 and we are on 11.1 standard. What should be our explanation to convince the BASIS to get SAP_ALL to apply the note.
Regards,
SHUBHAM

In general, it's not recommended to delete data directly! You have to use DM packages for standard model. Can be a reason for your issues.
Unfortunately, for BPC11 there is still no official zero elimination routine...
Activation of environmentshell is a safe procedure, you can do it many times.
