Error creating a new PAS/BI Model

Hi Gurus,

I'm trying to create a model in order to store SAP BW data. I've already created a LINK ID to my BW System and it working ok, but when i try to create de PAS Model it sends me this message:

How can i repair this ?

Hi Silva,

Please check in the following parameters in Model Connections for BWTESTPBI_BI in Mange models

PAS System Name:

PAS System Logon:

Password:

Port: 8325

After you create the model connection in BICA you have to check the user id and password in the Mange Models and see the connection is successful, it should be the operating system user id. This should resolve your issue.

Thanks Everybody for the replies, the problem was the creation trought BI tool ( http://<ip>:<port>/strategy/bi). It seem to copy any previous configuration for the connection, and the System User Password was wrong.

Hi Silva,

Did you set a password for the PAS user "Guest"? If a password is set for  the PAS user "Guest", you will need to manually set the password for the model connections created by BICA. Please go to SSM Admin > Administration> Manage Models page to set the password.

Hi Again Alicia, I haven't set any password to Guest user, all my Model are using the GUEST in their configurations. The only difference is they are direct input (Entry and Approval) and this new model I'am creating throught this tool http://<ip>:<port>/strategy/bi with the option Import Schema.

If it's not the password what could be?

have you tested the model connection from within the SSM Admin?

(Administrator > Manage Models, select the  model conection and "Test Connection")
