EPMSELECTMEMBER Id not showing up

Hi,

90% of the users including me have Id and Description showing up in EPMSELECTMEMBER but 10% of the users only have description showing up in EPMSELECTMEMBER. As a result, formulas such as EPMMEMBERPROPERTY does not work for these 10% users.

What can be causing the description only showing up for EPMSELECTMEMBER for these users?

Nicky,

Check that their EPM Member Selector for that particular dimension is not set to Description.  You likely have yours set to ID - Description, which is why yours works.

You can get there by going to the Context, clicking the drop-down for the particular dimension of interest, and then Select Other Members.  Then, you can click on the drop-down immediately to the right of the icon that looks like a notepad and select ID - Description.

Is there a way to globally enforce both id and description to show in Context?
