Hi
Currently running EPM (v10 SP26).
We have an issue on some of our workbooks, where we have more than one report on a sheet and the reports are written against different BEx queries. The descriptions for the members only show on one report at a time and the report on which these are shown is driven by the query selected in the Data Connection drop down of the EPM Panel.
Please see below screenshot:
In column D, we have the following formula: =epmmemberdesc(epmmemberid(B12)) (B12 changes to B13, B14 etc as we drag the formula down)
To show the descriptions in report 2, we need to select the relevant query in the Data Connection drop down of the EPM Panel, but then we lose the descriptions in report 1.
Worth noting that the two BEx queries have different GLs specified in their design.
Is there any solution or workaround for this issue?
As a secondary question, is there anyway to fix which BEx query will show automatically in the Data Connection drop down when a workbook is opened?
Thanks for your time.
JB

EPMMemberDesc has connection parameter
P.S. "33.1 Connection Name Parameter - Syntax"
"For SAP BW (INA Provider) connections, use only the query alias name."
