EPMDimension Override function conflicts with DAPs assignment

Hi,

Scenario 1 : We have a dimension override function which fetches the sibling base entities from the Entity selected in context. Eg. if SF01 is selected in context and it has 2 sibling entities(SF02,SF03) then SF01, SF02 and SF03 will appear in Summary report. Previously, it was working in this manner properly.

Scenario 2: Now I am providing DAP access to teams and if a user has access to SF01 and SF02 and not SF03 then in the sheet now, it is just fetching either SF01 or SF02 one at a time and not fetching them together.

My doubt is , is there a way we can fetch Scenario 1 &2 both like I give access for only 2 entities but these 2 entities appear side by side and not one at a time.

vadim.kalinin just one doubt. If I have a override formula for a dimension. how do I add blank member in it ? eg. after SF01 i want a blank member to appear, After SF02 a blank member etc.

Sorry, but for the mentioned formula:

=EPMDimensionOverride("000","APL_ENTITY","BAS"&"("&E10&")")

Only BAS members under member in cell E10 will be shown... Why do you talk about report with both Parent and BAS members?

You can't add blank member using EPMDimensionOverride, you can try to play with empty local member...
