EPM template file size

Dear All,

I have my EPM template with 6 sheets and the size is the file is very big almost 2mb

I believe when I save data into the server it is going with too much data.

is there anyway to optimize the size in order to be less?

like before save into the server, clear whole data in order to size get less, or any kind of compression?

epm doesn't send whole template when you click save data. It just converts existing request into a JSON format and sends to server for the current input template changed rows.

I have a workbook with 20+ sheets which is working very fine. If your template is working very slow and you are thinking it is due to file size, it can't be. probably you need to turn off some excel events before refresh and open back after refresh. What i don't get is, are you saving your template with the data embedded inside the template ?

It's the size of embedded EPM objects in this file. You can't do a lot!
