EPM Report slow performance in one machine

Hi,

We are on BPC10.1.

SAPK-75005INSAPBW,EPM -10.0 SP29,patch 2.

One user facing very slow performance in his laptop.The same report working fine with his ID in his desk top.It is machine specific issue.

I have cleared meta data cache,closed all other excel sheets,cleared temp folder.

But still issue occurring in his laptop.

Laptop's RAM is 16GB where as desk top is 8GB.

EPM version is same for all systems.Both systems are connected to office net work with the cable.

Is there anything I need to check?

Any input is highly appreciated.

Hello,

Since the performance issue is only affecting one client machine you can compare the configuration of that client machine with other ones that do not have the problem. Furthermore, I recommend the user, having the performance issue, to connect to EPM Add-in using a different client machine and perform the exact task. The objective is to verify if the root cause is client machine or user dependent.

This is not user specific or report specific issue.

It is machine specific only.

Then how we can help you? Can be a lot of reasons for the specific configuration of the specific computer to affect the performance!
