EPM Report Property Filter Issues

Hi All,

We have got a problem about reports with using account property filter.

Briefly, after copying live system to test system, our reports with using account property filter which is running accurately at live system, aren’t  running at test system.

For example, when we make a report by choosing account with the member and the descendants at test system, there is no problem.

On the other hand, when we make a report by using account property filter at test system, some account values aren’t coming accurately.

However, in both cases which I metioned above are running accurately at live system.

Could you help us in urgently to solve the problem?

Hi Vadim,

Our property ID doesn't include any space, we use space only at property description.

I think, our problem is not related with/without space. You can see our property ID at below image.

Thanks in advance

Then - no good idea

Try only property filter (without BS member and descendants). What you will have in resulting report?

Hi Vadim,

Thank you for your response.

I tried only property but result does not change.

There is also strange situation maybe help for solution.

I create new report with member recognition using base accounts like 1200011, 1200061.

It works fine but add parent these accounts below, again report is empty.

I suspect BW SP (very old by the way). After BW upgrade T think the issue will be solved (have something like your issue in past!).

May be there is some small difference... You can spend a lot of time trying to find it!

And SP upgrade is good for many other reasons

Hi again,

I want to explain our problem with below example. I hope it will be more clear for you.

We inserted a property being called "Budget Input" to Account dimension.

When we make a report by choosing account wtih the member and the descendants at test system, there is no problem. As you see at below example, the value of account "1200011" is coming.

However, when we make a report by using account property filter at test system, some account values aren’t coming accurately. As you see at below example, the value of account "1200011" isn't coming.

On the other hand, when we analyze the value of account "1200011" at BW side, we see accurate value.

I hope, these examples are more clear for you to solve the problem.

Thanks in advance

Hi Hasim,

What is the property ID? "Budget Input"?

Then try to rename it to something without space inside!

Vadim

P.S. You can use Property description with space, but the ID have to be without space...

Hasim,

can you share the page axis or the context selections for both of the reports?

Hi Hasim,

What do you mean by

some account values aren’t coming accurately..

If you are talking about transaction data, Have you tried to create report without filtering and selecting members manually ?
