Hello,

My EPM Performance is very slow while opening Excel and moving/copying from one cell to another cell. Can any one suggest to get better performance?

Configuration of System - EPM Version 10, SP 16, build 8602 ,

Regards,

Kumar

Hi Kumar,

As Vadim already mentioned first check the RAM load of your Local System (Ctrl+Alt+Del) by monitoring the performance tab in Task Manager.

Try to monitor this Performance when only excel is opened & remaining all applications should be ended if that is showing >70-80% then there should be some problem with your hardware component(RAM).

Hi Kumar,

close all your applications and only use excel and see if performance improves.

try create a new report and compare the performance with your existing report.

any macros in your report?

try a new version of EPM add in, SP23 patch 1.

Hi Kumar,

Excel opening and moving/copying from one cell to another cell is not related to EPM performance - it depends on the performance of workstation in case of local installation or citrix server in case of remote...

By the way EPM Version 10, SP 16 is terribly old!
