Dear Users,

I have created Environments in BPC Web Client.

Now i try to create a new EPM connection in excel add in. But i am not seeing the environments i created after connecting. I see the standard environment Environment Shell.

Not sure why.

Can anyone suggest?

Hi Syed,

Check you data access profiles.

For all secured dimensions, you need to have Write/Read access for atleast one dimension member.

Have you maintained dimension members for all the dimensions?

Thanks,

Manohar

Hello Syed,

Is it 10.1 Classic version or Embedded ..?

In addition to Gersh, Go to SA38 and run the program UJA_DATA_CHECKER and choose your respective environment name and execute it.

This means that it wasn't successfully created.

Delete it using UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT and create again. Now watch if any dump occurs or errors in SLG1.

Hi,

Use sys admin user ID to log onto the new environment, then add user to it to allow access.

Hi Syed,

Check security - data access profile, task profile.

Create and assign data access profile to user id.
