Hi Marta,

Reports are simply Excel files that can be stored locally or on the server... What do you mean by "execution"?

Hello Vadim,

thanks for your reply.

I need to know how many times, for example in a specific day, a specific user has run a specific report.

Using the Audit Data I can know the data inserted from a specific user using a specific input schedule, but I need also to know the name of the report run by him.

Thank you

Sorry, but "run a specific report" - is not defined.

Open Excel report file?

Refresh one of multiple reports in the Excel file?

Or...

If we are talking about input schedule then we can see the detailed info in the Data Audit report.

yes Vadim,

I can use the Audit Data for input schedules, but I need also to know how many time a specific user has refreshed a specific report.

Thank you

"how many time a specific user has refreshed a specific report" - this information is not available! Only the last refresh time is stored in the report file itself.

But what a strange idea to count number of refreshes? What for?

Some users may refresh the same report hundred of times (just thinking to get new data), some - not...

And in one file you can have many reports and each can be refreshed individually...

I mean...I need a table with the following fields:

- user ID

- name of the report

- time of the execution (time of the refresh of the report)

- model

- environment

Thank you

Please, try to answer - what for?

And what do you mean by "name of the report"?

I need this information to understand the statistics of the BPC reports' usage for the company where I'm working.

They need to know how many time in a month, for example, the users profiled in BPC have refreshed the reports.

For the "name of the report" I mean the name that I've given to the report, the ID.

Thank you

Marta

OK,

Final answer - you will not get this information from BPC server. You can try lo analyze local workstation EPM log, but

And from common sense point of view: refresh report <> use report!

It's like information about how many times the user opened some Excel file - absolutely useless.
