EPM-Addin SSO not working

Dear All,

We have implemented SSO in our BPC landscape. when I login BPC through my SAP portal it works fine for me. I am able to login BPC without  prompting the user id and password. whereas when I try to login through EPM-Addin.I am getting a popup to enter the user id and password.

Even I have tried by checking tick mark in the client certificate --> choose certificate but I am getting error as Exception has been thrown  by the target  of an invocation ( Detailed error : client certificate  CN=Userid@XXXX.com  was not found  or is invalid.

please suggest how to login EPM Add-in with single sign on and much appreciated for your inputs

Hi Experts,

We are still facing this issue. Appreciate if anyone can share the steps to implement the SSO for Excel EPM Add-In using Kerberos token(without portal). We successfully implemented the SAP GUI part and not able to implement on the Excel EPM add-in side.

Also the EPM Add-In install guide states:

Note If you select the Client Certificate option, you can select a certificate (the private key is installed on the client, the public key on the BW server) so you can connect without entering the user name and password. This is not valid if you connect through a BusinessObjects Enterprise XI platform.



Can you enable the trace option in the EPM Add-in and provide any trace/error logs?

Any other user is able to connect?

What is the behavior if you try to connect from "EPM Office Add in Excel" launch (from web portal)option?

It looks like certificate issue.You may need to verify with Certificate team.
