Enterprise Contract Assembly with MDG ?

Hi,

I would like to understand if we have Enterprise Contract Assembly with ECM for legal contract in S/4 Hana ,Is it needed to have supplier details in Enterprise Contract Assembly?

If yes then an interface need to be build between MDG and Enterprise Contract Assembly?

Could you please help me with above questions.

Hi Roshan,

no, you do not need masterdata in E-CA.

You only need master data for suppliers (or customers or employees depending on which area of contracts is in scope of the implementation) in S/4HANA. These master data are then used in the Legal Transactions in E-CM where the lifecycle of contract documents are managed.

With the variables positioned in Legal Templates in Enterprise Contract Assembly, the details of the entity (supplier, customer, etc) will then be replicated during the document assembly.
