Hi,
When you want to see the status of your package, you have to go to edata - viewstatus
in V4 the "refresh after..' is automatically selected, in V 7.0 not. Is there a way to do this?

Benjamin
Hi,
As you might probably guess, this change in behavior has a huge impact on performance. Each time a refresh is done (inside package status window), a request to the server is done simultaneously.
For a customer who has to deal with 500 end-users worldwide, it is completely impossible to set it by default, as they will face performance issues. So, it has then been decided to deselect this Refresh checkbox. And it is actually by design.
So the only workaround is to enable this checkbox each time you open the View Status Window.
I still know that there is an enhancement request that has been raised regarding this, and this could be potentially included into future releases. Check SAP note 1098418 and 1384891.
Hope this will help.
Best Regards,
Patrick

Hi Benjamin,
You can set this parameter in the Appset parameters: DTSSTATUSCHECK
The online manual says:
Use this parameter to hide or show the 'Refresh Status Every' checkbox in the Data Manager Status view.
- 0: Hide the checkbox
- 1: Show the checkbox
I guess that if the checkbox is hidden there should be some kind of refresh happening although I haven't tested it.

Ibai
