ECCN and HTS Code

Hi GTS Gurus,

I want to know if the ECCN and HTS codes are generated within the GTS system or will be supplied by the 3rd party vendor just like SPL and Embargo data by eg: MK DATA?

Also I have seen " upload ECCN's from xml file " in menu, and several queries about automating the process, does any one have any idea, how that is automated please?

Hello Alex,

Normally, this is provided by a content provider, like Descartes, that you purchase. Then you can upload the content to GTS.
