Hello SAP gurus, I hope you all are doing well and safe!
I have a question regarding BOM Transfer method from ECC to GTS. Let me elaborate the situation; BOMs were transferred to GTS as part of the Go-live. As part of business practice, ECC BOMs have been marked as "deactivated", means, BOM(s) related to material is no longer valid but not deleted from system.
We expect GTS to be in sync with ECC but unfortunately thats not the case, GTS does not receive any update and BOM still can be seen in GTS (presume there's no BOM status in GTS). Tried to manual transfer the BOM from ECC but getting the message that BOM is not valid for this material which is probably good thing as ECC considers this BOM is not longer valid for any purpose.
Can you please explain why BOMs remain out of sync in both systems. Is that something missing in the configuration?
Thanks,
NK

The message you are referencing (CM_BOMBOS052) is not a GTS message... which makes me think that possibly the issue is laying somewhere else...
The message class CM_BOMBOS is related to EH&S. Have you tried to talk to one of your EH&S colleagues about this error message?

Hi Naveen,
What is the error message you are getting? Area and message number please, just to check if this is an error message issued by GTS plug-in or something else?
Do you have filters in place to prevent the transfer of BOMs flagged as deleted? As a reminder, such filters are done using specific developments...
I remember having seen a document (KBA? OSS note?) some years back to update the synchronization of BOMs between Feeder System but can't find it anymore. As far as I remember, this involved manual actions, such as manually deleting the BOM in GTS (not 100% sure about this).
Last option: Try to manually delete the BOM is GTS using program
/SAPSLL/BOMHD_DELETE
Hope this helps.
