EBS incoming MT940 format

Hello,

We are using S/4 Hana cloud 2111 version.

For one of the EBS which gets delayed the posting is happening to the wrong month, can i alter the EBS posting date ?

Example Month end Friday 29th EBS MT940 is received on 1st (monday) of next month, the EBS is posting entries on 1st instead of 29th which is causing month end closing difficult as the balances will not match - can i alter something in mapping in mange your solution so this error is not seen?

Can someone also help me with MT940 documentation how it can be altered?

Hi Harish,

I dont think we have a configurations in manage your solution to handle this issue.

I think this is one of the unsupported functions of EBS can be done through user exit through extensibility in S/4 HANA cloud, but please do check with the developers to confirm.

which date is written on the bank statement file provided by the bank? The 29th or the 1st?
