Duty China to China STO

Hi experts, we have this special scenario where goods will be moving inside China but we still want to apply duty. It's a valid business scenario and because of legal requirements in China, they require the duty to be paid (import). How can we enable this in GTS because normally the duty can only be applied if the dispatch country is outside of the country. So basically we have country of origin = china, country of departure = china and HTS from China. Can this somehow be enabled in GTS because when I use the simulation to calculate duties, I get no duty. Thanks!

Hi Zoran,

That's an interesting Customs situation you're describing. Do you know WHY you're not getting the duty calculation? Is there some Pricing Requirement that stops the call to GTS from being made, or is GTS simply not returning any results?

I'm not sure if the Simulation function generates any logs in GTS, or if you see any protocol in the Purchase Order, but perhaps you could take a look, to start to narrow down the problem. Of course, you will need to have Duty Rates to cover that situation.
