Dunning and Collection Management in S/4HANA Utilities(ISU FICA).

Dear experts,

For one of my clients, who has already implemented the dunning process in FICA using BRFplus in ECC, I'm wondering if their are any innovations in that area(dunning and collection managment in FICA) in S/4Hana utilities?

The goal is to see if there are other ways to implement dunning and collection management without using BRFplus in S4.

I didn't find a lot of information about the dunning and collection managment processes in S/4Hana Utilities, so I'm wondering if these processes remains exactly same as in ECC.

Dear Oauel,

As you mentionned, Dunning process is held by FICA and not really in IS-U.

There is 2 way to create your dunning :

-Dunning by dunning process

-Dunning by Collection strategy

Indeed, you need BRFPLUS to implement Dunning by Collection strategy but not for Dunning by dunning process which is the oldest version of dunning in FICA but still available.

Not sure there is a new way to do your dunning in S4, maybe you can have a look on debt collection management (DCM) which is improve with S4 2020.

Hi Oauel.

No changes so far, if you want to be flexible, Collection Strategies with BRF+ is still state of the art.
