Doubt that complement used to BPC project with Integrated Business Planning

Hello,

we are currently implementing a new project in BPC 10.1 NW embedded with HANA with Integrated Business Planning (IBP). The question we have now are:

1. Is it possible to use only the EPM Add-in to carry out the planning? Or also needs Analysis for Office plug-in?

2. have any license cost for the Analysis Office or works in the same way that the EPM add-in, and can be downloaded in the same way, that is from the Market Place?

We have always worked with the EPM add-in for all BPC project (Consolidation with Plan),  we do not know whether IBP, continues to operate the same or has changed the way we work and other supplement than EPM is required.

Have a look at the user guide and whats new on this link about analysis for office.

Analysis for office is free, just like EPM add in.

Analysis 2.2 installation includes EPM add in.

have a look at this article.

For IBP the best is to use Analysis for office.

The question I have is what are the main advantages of Analisy for Office regarding EPM plug-in for IBP? You can do the same with both complements?

On the other hand, this is our first project embedded BPC 10.1 IBP, it would help us to have some documentation or guide on the steps to implement a project IBP in this environment BPC.

Hi Emilio,

Analysis for office 2.1 version comes with combination of Analysis for office and EPM addin together.
