Don't want to run CT in few Consolidation Units

Hi Team,

To meet the requirement of currency translation not happening for few consolidation units in SAP S4 Hana Public Cloud Group Reporting, we have created a new Currency Translation method with no sequences in it. Then assigned that Currency Translation Method to those consolidation units for which translation shouldn't happen.

So when we run the Currency Translation task  no translation happened for those consolidation units.

Please confirm is this approach okay as per you.

Also please note - We can't block currency translation task in data monitor as we want currency translation to happen for some consolidation units and no currency translation for some consolidation units in the same data monitor.

It is not possible to block currency translation for few units.

If you are aware about it please let us know how can we block the currency task only for few consolidation units.

Also method S0907 is not working fine on data uploaded via flexible upload.

As soon as the local currency of the consolidation unit is different from the group currency of the version, the currency translation task must be executed, and for this a currency translation method must be assigned to the consolidation unit.

If you want to keep the existing group currency values, you need a currency translation method with "*" as the reference rate, and no sequence. You still need to run the task, otherwise you are not able to lock it.
