Don't want to open same report twice in BPF instance

Hi All,

In BPF activity instance when we open the same report link for two different profit centres .The report will opens twice with two different profit centres and user doesn't want it like that,

Is there any way to override the existing report with another profit centre

Hi Satish,

this is a Excel behaviour. Normaly BPC reports are designed as Excel templates (.xltm Files).

Excel opens a template as a new Workbook instance.

You can try to save the Report as .xlsm Excel Workbook. In our Environment a .xlsm Workbook  opens only once and changes the EPM Context when using different Links in BPF.

Another simple thing to prevent this is to use EPM Context in the Report. When the Report is once open the user can switch between profit centers he has  Access for directly in the Report.
