does Solution Order currently support the handling of Contract Accounts 5IK

Hi Support,

while referring to SAP blogs, we see that a statement issue by one SAP topic expert as below dated 2023

"Solution Order currently does not support the handling of Contract Accounts and therefore cannot be used in case SAP Subscription Billing should be integrated with FICA (Scope Item 5IK)."

Is it supporting now with?

Hi,

Thanks for your question. The below was correct at time of writing, however from the 2502 release, FICA is supported in solution order management. Contract account details are pulled up from the defined payer role and can be maintained both at header and subitem level of a solution order. With 2502 this functionality is supported for Sales and Subscription Billing items, however further scope will be added in the coming releases. Scope Item 4GT will be enhanced with the necessary information and the documentation to this new function can be found here : Contract Accounts in Solution Orders | SAP Help Portal. Thanks for the solution! But when executing the solution order replication (5IK) to SAP Subscription Billing..while passing a contract account its giving us error saying that" Remove the contract account, because payer XXXXX is inactive for FI_CA...could you please provide us the solution
