Document splitting zero balance feature

Hi, Can I activate zero balance feature for profit center in document splitting in productive system? If yes what are prerequisites should be take in consideration ?

Hi Heba,

Yes, you can activate zero balance feature for document splitting. You will need to configure a new Zero clearing A/c. SAP will generate a new line with this if debit and credit of cost center (linked to a profit center) do not net off on its own.

For example entry of 

Office supplies 800 (Dr)    Cost center-1234

Office supplies 800 (Cr)     Cost center-2345

When you simulate it will be

Office supplies 800 (Dr) Cost center 1234

Zero balance clearing A/c 800

Office supplies 800 (Cr) Cost center 2345

Zero balance clearing A/c 800

Hi,Ashwini did you mean no prerequisites needed before activation in productive system?, is it better to activate at the beginning of fiscal year?, what about entries posted before activation?
