DMEEX Hierarchy Synchronization

I am currently looking into using SAP DME Hierarchy to reduce Maintaince of DMEE trees for a global roll out.

Does anyone have any Information on this process as found some but not a lot of information on SAP standard. I want to confirm that if I copy I understand will copy the Hierarchy. What I want to confirm is if I copy the standard to a Z version can I then add Z version country Templates to the Same Hierarchy?

Hi Gary,
When by the "I copy the standard to a Z version" you mean that you create your Z tree as a subtree of an SAP tree, you will have the possibility to synchronize future modifications of the SAP standard tree to your Z tree. But when you do the copy on the same level (without inheritance), the synchronization will not work for you. The main reason for the hierarchy is to allow to profit from the synchronization. And it is valid also for your country templates. Synchronization works as a waterflow from parent tree to its direct child trees.
