Distribution Template Naming convention

Hi All,

Here I am facing an issue. I am distributing input templates on entity basis. And after distribution we are getting around 20 templates. The problem is the templates name are coming based on ENTITY ID, but My requirement is to get the ENTITY description for the template title.

Example:

ID                  Description

1000              XYZ

Here while after distribution template name is coming as "1000". Please help me out if any process to achieve template name as "XYZ" (description).

If this is an unsupported feature then you can request this as an enhancement by posting the request on SAP idea place.

We are using our own simple VBA code to perform template distribution. For naming we are using dedicated property of ENTITY dimension

VBA code can read any property and will copy template creating copy with the name from the property. Do you know how to program in VBA?

I dont know VBA programming, just having idea to link DMP with VBA. Can you please provide me the code if possible, will be very helpful.

Sorry, but I will not provide you VBA code (in our case this code is a part of more complex code solution) and I will have to spend time extracting only useful parts.

In general it's simple and the person with VBA knowledge can write it within few hours...
