Distribution in BPC 10.1 & Collection in BPC 7.5

how are you? I have a question, can you distribute, templates, with version 7.5 and collect those same templates in version 10.1.?

Hello,

No, you will find a lot of problems in your templates if you do that, because BPC 10.1 uses EPM Add-in which is an entirely different set of libraries. Even though EPM Add-in supports EVDRE, it is not a straight plug and play. Each template has to be carefully tested and modified to make sure it works correctly

Yes, it's a very strange idea, a client does not want their end users to use version 10.1, although they migrated there. The client prefers that they continue using version 7.5 because they are familiar.

Sorry, but I do not support strange client ideas/ It/s your job to explain client that after upgrade to 10.1 they have to use EPM client.
