Display only Member Property in Report?

Hi Gurus,

I have an epm report. I have a member YMATERIAL which has YEXTWG "external material group" as a property.

It is possible to filter the displayed materials by e.g. YEXTWG <> 'EMPTY'.

But is it also possible to define this filter in the payge axis and the display only the external material group in the rows? I don't want to see all materials, only totals by external material group...which is not defined as hierarchy node, but only as a property...

What I need is like BI navigation attributes.

If you do not want to use a hierarchy,

an alternative is to use the option "member sorting and grouping" in the EPM report editor.

Here you can group by this property and use the before group or after group local members

to display subtotals.

However, the base members will also be shown below the subtotal.

Hi Sandra,

"I don't want to see all materials, only totals by external material group...which is not defined as hierarchy node, but only as a property" - impossible, you have to create hierarchy nodes (in the existing or additional hierarchy).
