Disclosure Management - substitute of datasource after database copy

Hi everyone,

we've just upgraded our DM test instance to version 2100. Prior to this we copied the database from the productive system to the test instance. Now we would like to know if there's a "trick" or something else (maybe a sql statement) to substitute the datasource from "Prod (Internal)" to "Test" for all the periods and their containing reports in one step?

We know the manual steps, but we would like to implement this on a mass scale.

Hi Peter,

It's not a one-button trick, but you can switch datasource for one datalink manually, and then run "Change datalink" in Content refresh tab on report level to do a mass change of the datasources.

thank you. That's the method my colleague already uses to change the datasource.

Hi Peter

Not possible as far as I know, as the data-source details are stored within the Excel and Word files. As this is encoded in the DB, you cannot do this via SQL
