Disclosure Management - Footnote tag - ESEF

Dear Sap Support,

We have a problem with the footnote tag in Word, for ESEF document.

Although the text is not tagged when the xhtml file is generated, the footnote is tagged with the concept present between the two pages.

We need to set some configuration in iXBRL Istance to avoid this problem.

The DM Server version is 10.1.2000.318, all plugins are version 10.1.2000.1

I had the same issue some months ago (exactly with your stack version). I opened an incident to ask for the wrong tagging of footnotes in iXBRL. The answer was that the issue would be solved in next release (stack 2100) with a new plugin.

Hello Lorenzo,

This is a known issue, a fix is slated for the next release.

A possible workaround is putting the Footnotes to the end of the report as Endnotes.

To convert one or more footnotes or endnotes:

1. Open your document and select the References tab. In the Footnotes group, click Show Notes.
2. Select the notes you want to convert, and then right-click. Select Convert to Footnote or Convert to Endnote.
