Disable F4 Help

Hi All,

System : BPC 10.1 Embedded on BW7.5 on HANA

We have a Comment ADSO containing a Characteristic InfoObject with the setting 'Characteristic as Keyfigure' to capture the comments.

When we build a BeX Query and set it to Input Ready Query and access it via Analysis Office, the F4 help is enabled.

We need to DISABLE the F4 Help for this 'Characteristic as KeyFigure' InfoObject.

Hi Arun,

value help was available when the characteristic in the 'characteristic as key figure' had no master data table, in other cases not.

But some customers needed a value help in other cases as well, so something was changed with the effect that values help was provided in all cases except characteristics using a referencind 0DATE.

This was fixed in the meantime, cf.note

The description contained in the note is a little misleading; please read this as: a value help is only provided if the characteristics has a master data table; there is no value help in all other cases and also not for characteristics using or referencing 0DATE.

So check you Analysis Office version and the other notes mentioned in the above note.
