Difference in employee vendor balance running open items and all items

I have executed command to run general ledger of employee travel advances using all items as at date. For ease let's assume there is only one employee in the company. The balance I get is of 100 using all items (some debit and credit entries for advance issuance and adjustment) . But when I run the same gl using open items the balance is 0.. Please tell me why difference is appearing.

Hi @Usman 

If you run the ledger report with all items, it would display all items which have been posted and are either open or cleared. If however, if you select the check box for open items as of a date, it means, the system would fetch only the items which have been posted and still open. These items need to be cleared against another item or against an adjustment posting.
