Hi, all.
1. May I know what are the differences between BusinessObjects BI and BPC in terms of functionality ?
2. I know that BO BI and BPC can do reporting, but what are the differences between the way they generate reports?
3. Does BO BI use BW as the backend database ?
4. Is BO BI making use of BEX analyzer to retrieve data from BW ?
5. Is there any integration tools between BO BI and BPC ?

SAP BO is enterprise reporting tool which can many olap and relational databases to present the data in reporting format.

SAP BO is enterprise reporting tool which can connect OLAP and relational data sources. It has multiple reporting tools to provide information. e.g. Webi , Lumira, Universe designer etc..

3.Does BO BI use BW as the backend database ?
Yes BO can connect Bex queries/multiproviders, DSO and Cubes. Two types for connectivity is possible. BICS and relational universe to BW.

5.No. Bex analyser is used for display BEx queries data in excel through add-in.BO use Webi , Crytsal, Lumira to display data of BEx queries.
